The ground floor is equipped with a gym cum recreational center which even has a table tennis table. These hostels come with the basics such as blanket, one cupboard per room, pillows, mattress, beds two side tables and one table and one chair per room.

The occupants get their bed sheets and pillow case washed every week. Availability of hot water is limited to certain hours. There is a central heating system installed in the hostels in order to maintain a moderate temperature in the rooms. Plumbers, electrician and carpenter are available on call services. However, if you are looking for accommodation in the hostels then you got to be competitive since they follow a ‘first come first serve’ policy so make sure you aren’t left with any room. While accommodating at the university hostels, the students are asked to enter into a contract lasting for a year in which they are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of the hostels. These rules involve instructions that all the students shall be within the hostel premises before 11.00 PM as it is the closing time of the gate, registration of the visitors, rules against making noise, etc.
