NEET Entrance Test - Introduction
NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is the Medical Entrance Exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). By qualifying the NEET exam, one can get a admission into MBBS/BDS Course. The NEET Entrance test is applicable only for undergraduates. NEET offers almost 90,000 seats for MBBS/BDS students to the Medical and Dental College of India.
As per the Supreme Court’s order in 2016, no other entrance exam, except NEET will be considered to fill the All India Quota Seats as well as the State Level Quota seats across the country. This examination will also be considered as valid for applying to private & government medical colleges except for AIIMS & JIPMER across the country.
Depending upon NEET Score, Seats are allotted to students are:
- State Government Quota Seats
- Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed Universities
- All India Quota Seats
- State/NRI/Management Quota Seats in Private Medical/Dental colleges
- Central Pool Quota Seats
The notification for NEET 2022 has been released. The application form will be started from th 2nd April 2022.

Application Process: For NEET Entrance Test
The application process for the NEET Entrance Test is submitted through the online portal on the official website of NEET. There is no other mode for online application process of NEET entrance exam.
How to apply for NEET Exam?
Step 1: Go to the website of NTA Exam
Step 2: There are 5 options are available on the website: (Engineering, Medical, Management, College/University, Teaching).
Step 3: Select the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test option.
Step 4: Click on the New User Registration Here button.
Step 5: Provide all the information in given fields like Father’s Name, Educational Qualification, address, name etc.
Step 6: SGR(System Generated Registration) number will appear on the screen. Note it down, it will be used for the future login process.
Step 7: Download the Admit Card.
Step 8: Confirm the application form details. Click on ‘Next and Preview’ option to check if all the information is correct before final submission.
Step 9:After reviewing the application form, click on the submit button.
Step 10: Upload the scan image of the photographs and signature.
Step 11: After this, you will get an option for Mode of Payment, through which you can pay the application fees.
Language Allowed: For NEET Entrance Test

NEET Exam 2022 - Dress Code (Male & Female)
Candidates must follow dress code which mentioned below while appearing for NEET exam, the dress code rules are given below:

Candidates have to wear half sleeves clothes or formal dress ( No fashionable clothes allowed)

Candidates have to wear formal slippers & sandals (No shoes allowed)
Note: If any candidate coming for the exam wearing a religious cloth, in that case, they need to report at the allotted examination at least by 12.30 PM on the day of examination.
For Male Candidate
Wear light clothes like Jeans, Pant, Shirt (half sleeves only). The button of the shirt should be the medium size it should not be big. The Kurta Pajama & shoes are also not allowed. For the male candidate, they can wear only sleepers or sandals.
For Female Candidate
clothes with half sleeves not having big buttons, brooch/badge, etc. with Salwar, Slippers, sandals with low heels are allowed. High heels shoes or sandals for the female candidate are also not allowed.
