Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) screening test is also commonly known as Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE), is a national level licensure examination conducted twice a year by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) which is compulsory for foreign medical graduates for getting the permanent or provisional registration with MCI/NMC or other State Medical Council which will be held on 18th June, 2021.

The examination leading expert, National Board of Examinations (NBE), will announce the exam pattern of FMGE exam in its information bulletin.The FMGE exam will be conducted online which is a computer-based test. The exam will have a total of 300 multiple choice questions in two part which will be conducted in the English language. The exam will be divided into two part papers - the first part will be conducted in the morning session and the second part will be taken in the afternoon session consisting of 150 questions each.
